Overview
Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße is a Salzburg-state market town in the Pinzgau region at the northern entrance of the Großglockner High Alpine Road, the most famous mountain road in Austria. The town sits where the Salzach valley meets the road that climbs to the foot of the Großglockner, the country's highest peak, and serves as a base for travellers heading into Hohe Tauern National Park, Zell am See and the Kaprun glacier ski region.
