Bosnia and Herzegovina Embassy in Vienna

Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Vienna, Austria

Overview

The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina at Tivoligasse 54 in Vienna's 12th district (Meidling) is the primary diplomatic mission for Austria and a vital hub for the substantial Bosnian diaspora — an estimated 170,000 people of Bosnian origin live in Austria, making it one of the largest Bosnian communities in Europe, concentrated in Vienna, Upper Austria, and Salzburg. Ambassador Siniša Bencun (since July 2023) leads the mission, supported by Minister Counsellor Šaban Forić, Counsellors Vladimir Glamočlija and Ivan Filipović, First Secretary Ramiz Radonja, and Military Attaché Herman Jerman. The embassy manages consular services, citizen support, and bilateral coordination between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Austria.
